During 2013 and 2014 many members of the LCIE have been working on a set of projects funded by the European Commission designed to promote best practices and engagement with stakeholders. Some of the final reports are now ready. The three projects included;
(1) Developing guidelines for identifying and managing problem bears.
(2) Applying the latest genetic methods to census a wolf population in Slovakia in cooperation with local stakeholders.
(3) Promoting traditional livestock husbandry practices to reduce wolf attacks in Iberia.This package includes a final report in English, Portugese or Spanish and a manual in Portugese.
