Turkey and its
large carnivores have been sadly neglected within a European context.
The country has large populations of brown bear, wolves and Eurasian
lynx, in addition to striped hyaena and caracal, and the potential
for leopards. Wolves are the most widespread large carnivore in
Turkey. |
