This section contains a gallery of images to do with large carnivores and their conservation. Each image can be downloaded for media or other use only with approval of the webmaster. Each image is available in medium quality (0.5-1MB file size) and jpg format. Higher resolution copies are available on request. Note that none of the photographs are taken by professionals - so some image processing may be necesary. All use of images should be discussed with the webmaster prior to their use.

Images are available under six different headings

(1) Animals - pictures of large carnivores, their tracks and signs as well as their prey.

(2) People - central people involved in large carnivore research and conservation.

(3) Places - landscape images from around Europe where large carnivores occur.

(4) Issues / Conservation - ocuses on various aspects of large carnivore conservation.

(5) Issues / Livestock - various aspects of livestock husbandry and conflicts between carnivores and livestock.

(6) Culture - various aspects dealing with the interface between large carnivores and human culture or history.

(7) Prey - features photographs of carnivore prey - mainly roe deer at this stage
