Large carnivores are often
associated with costly conflicts with human interests. One of the
ways to turn apparent disadvantage into advantage is by using them
to promote ecotourism. Turning this potential benefit into reality
is a challenge, given the fact that it is unlikely that many
tourists will ever see a large carnivore. However, for many people
it is enough to just know that they are out there, somewhere.....
