First two lynx released in the Dinarics

The first two lynx have been released in the Dinaric Mountains. Doru was released in Croatia and Goru in Slovenia. Both individuals were captured in the wild in Romania. The translocation is part of the LIFE Lynx project which is trying tin increase the genetic variation in the very small Dinaric population. Their adventures can be followed on the LIFE Lynx project home page.
