For the last 5 weeks Flemish TV viewers have been able to watch a nature series that has criss-crossed Europe looking for the European Big 5 - the most charismatic species on the continent. Only the bison was able to hold its own next to the wolf, brown bear, lynx and wolverine. In the last episode the final list was presented to the president of the European Council, Herman Van Rompuy.
