This is the first image taken of a wild lynx ever taken in Serbia, captured with a camera trap. The picture is from the eastern part of Serbia in the very edge of the vast Carpathian range that stretches from Serbia through Romania, Ukraine, Slovakia and Poland. Although there have been rumours of lynx expansion in this area in recent years, this is the first hard proof.
